visual and tattoo artist from Italy - based in Cornwall

Ciao a tutti and welcome!

a bit of background

I was born and raised in a small village near Turin, surrounded by mountains and cornfields. In 2014, I moved to London after completing a High School Diploma in scientific studies, marking the start of my artistic journey. My adventures took me from London to Australia and Vietnam, and in early 2017, I settled in Penzance, where I pursued a National Diploma in Art and Design from Penwith College. I graduated from Falmouth University with a degree in Drawing in 2022.

My tattoo journey began in my hometown with an apprenticeship I completed at 18. After years of traveling and tattooing from my kitchen table, I recognized the need for formal artistic training, leading me back to academia to refine my designs and skills. While studying, I worked part-time at Ink & Afro tattoo studio for three years, integrating my academic learnings with practical tattoo artistry.

In August 2022, I joined Mishmash Tattoos as a resident artist in the heart of Penzance, collaborating with two other fantastic artists who make me feel part of an eclectic family.

the art

My work examines the spaces between proximity and distance, where boundaries blur and new connections emerge. As a tattoo artist, I forge bonds through the act of marking skin, creating narratives that intertwine personal histories with collective memory. My mixed media sculptures, drawings and Dermography project delve into the concept of li, uncovering the organic patterns that resonate across time and space.

Drawing on the traditions and symbolism of my heritage, my work grapples with themes of belonging and separation, revealing the invisible threads that weave our lives together. Today, I expand this dialogue through diverse mediums—from painting and printmaking to textile and installation. Each discipline informs the others, blending my travel experiences, formal education, and hands-on practice to create holistic artworks. Ultimately, my creations resonate with the unique stories of each client, embodying the shared human experience and the transformative power of connection.
